Frequently asked questions
We're a community of women entrepreneurs in Atlanta who are done doing business alone. Think of us as your business bestie meets accountability partner meets networking group—but way less awkward and way more authentic. We host events, workshops, and coworking sessions where you can actually connect with other women who get what it's like to run a business.
Any woman running or starting a business in the Atlanta area. We've got members at every stage, from "I just had a business idea" to "I've been doing this for 10 years." Whether you're bootstrapping solo, building a team, or somewhere in between, you belong here.
We mix it up! We do monthly Coffee & Co-Work sessions, lunch & learns with industry experts, wellness activities (because burnout is real), and our biweekly Founders Power Hour virtual coworking sessions. Plus workshops, networking mixers, and our signature annual events. Basically, if it helps you grow your business or keeps you sane while doing it, we're probably hosting it, and dreaming up even more ideas!
Nope. We're not about collecting business cards and awkward small talk. We're about building real friendships with women who understand the entrepreneur life; the wins, the struggles, the "am I doing this right?" moments. We're here for genuine connection and mutual support, not transactions.
Most of our events and community access are free or low-cost. Some workshops and special events have a fee to cover costs and bring in expert instructors. We also have a digital shop with free and paid resources. Our goal is to keep things accessible while providing real value.
Absolutely not. Show up when it works for you. We know you're busy running a business. Whether you can make every single thing or just pop in once a month, you're still part of the community.
Yes! A lot of our members are introverts who were tired of traditional networking events. Our events are designed to feel more like hanging out with friends than forced mingling. Plus, our virtual coworking sessions are perfect if you want connection without the pressure of constant conversation.
Perfect. You're exactly who we're here for. We've all been at the "what am I even doing" stage, and having a community while you figure it out makes everything easier. You'll find mentors, collaborators, and friends who remember what it's like to be where you are.
Join our Facebook group t(https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1Zp8RjLPSL/)o start connecting with members, follow us on Instagram @themagnoliacollective (www.instagram.com/themagnoliacollectiveatl)for updates, and check out our events page to RSVP for what's coming up. You can also subscribe to our newsletter to get everything delivered straight to your inbox.
That's literally what we're here for. Some of our best success stories are members who met through TMC and ended up working together, referring clients to each other, or just being each other's sounding board. We're all about collaboration over competition.
We're not here to BS you—we talk about the real stuff. The loneliness of entrepreneurship. The fear of failure. The struggle to balance it all. And we don't just talk about it, we actually support each other through it. No fake "hustle culture" vibes, no toxic positivity, just real women building real businesses and lifting each other up along the way.
Our in-person events are Atlanta-based, but our virtual Founders Power Hour sessions and online community are open to anyone. If you're in the area even part-time or planning to move here, you're welcome to join and connect however works for you.
